From the Author ~
Have you ever been overwhelmed with the amount of political rants on social media? Have you ever noticed the disconnect between “Facebook friends” as they belittle one another because their beliefs don’t line up just right? Well, that’s exactly what inspired me to write my new dystopian novella 2103.
The story begins with 2103 (Act 1), the first book in the series, and it takes place fifty-three years after a second civil war has torn America apart. It’s the year 2103 and the American Union has declared martial law and has essentially incited a war with its own citizens. Times are rough economically and some people will do anything to get ahead.
This book follows several different characters and captures small glimpses in their lives. Each scene is like an act of a play, and the bigger story is told through multiple view points as society disintegrates. Take the journey into a future that I hope we will never see. America has fallen, but that's only the beginning.
